Flower Bud
There’s something about green and pink that reminds me of a flower bud. So sweet, delicate and refreshing. I love flowers, they are a reminder for us to slow down sometimes and appreciate the beauty all around us…
I heart this Kelly green skirt. It’s one of those colors I love to wear because it can easily transition from Spring to Fall, not to mention the perfect green shade is great for any skin tone. I love the silky soft satin and the over-sized bow details adds a lovely allure of sweet ladylike elegance.
Love this F21 pearl necklace but as you know the quality are not always everlasting and bummer that a few pearls came apart. I have been looking into a really nice quality (yet affordable freshwater pearl set and really love the ones from My Jewelry Box. If you have some recommendations, please do share!

Back when I was in high school some 13 years ago, I used to like to coordinate, A LOT. Yes, I was that girl sitting in front of you in the classroom with the hot pink belt matching the hot pink shoes and the hot pink bag (hey, don’t you judge me :). It was cute then but now I cringed at the thought of a matchy-matchy outfit.
I’ve strayed away from matching bright hues so color blocking was a just the perfect happening that I’m hoping will last forever and ever. Or maybe some 13 years from now, I’ll be matching shoes-belt-bag again….Ha!
Happy Monday! I hope you had a fabulous weekend and thanks for stopping by! xo
Omg!! I love this outfit. You put it together oh so perfect. Can i custom order this shirt in a Khaki/ Tan color?

Oh wow! Your skirt is gorgeous! Love how you styled this outfit. So classy and romantic as always. :) I used to coordinate a lot too. I think Barbie is to blame. She loved coordinating so much. Haha!
I absolutely love the colors you put together! Gorgeous
Love this style, especially the colours and shape, wow!

Love this! So creative and stylish!
OMG you made that skirt!? It’s so freaking cute! Wow, this is so inspirational, I think I’m going to have to have this outfit for myself :)
In response to your pearls recomendations, I normally buy mine when I go back home to Hawaii. There are so many stores and boutiques with fresh water pearls but I checked out the site and they do have a lot of nice ones. Some are kinda pricey but a few I saw are affordable that I would probably purchase for myself.
I swear everytime I stop by your blog, I’m just amazed and blown away each time. Your style and your creativity just keeps getting better and better. While I love these photos, I think my favorite is the up close of your face in pic #2.
I love, love, love this look (well, then again, when I have I never not loved a look of your’s?!)! Kelly green and light pink is a marriage of color blocking beauty that just pops and I love how elegant this outfit is… but of course, with that interesting subtle edge courtesy of the studded bag and shoes. I know how you said that you’re not into matchy-matchiness anymore, but I couldn’t help but love how insanely perfect the aforementioned shoes and bag are together!
P.S. Yay for another gorgeous KTRCollection piece! Magnifico! :D

Love the color combo!! So cute and perfectly paired :)
Ahhhhh!! I love it! When I saw it on instagram, I literally said “I Love it!” out loud and my co-worker just kind of looked at me all confused. Haha! Gorgeous color combination, and I absolutely adore your skirt. It’s got that great poof to it, which I love. :) Oh and I still do matchy matchy! Haha!
Every time I visit your blog I am so blown away by how amazing you look – and even more blown away when I see that you’ve actually made the pieces you’re wearing! I was in high school around the same time you were and I have fond memories of the matchy-matchy ensembles we all wore (thank-you, Clueless!) At the time I thought it was the height of fashion but it does seem so funny now… Who knows, maybe we’ll look back at colourblocking in ten years and wonder what we were thinking, but for now, I think this look is absolutely stunning. The colour combination is to die for.

Fab job on the skirt and the colors are so pretty together!
I am so in love with you and your sense of style (and humor)! I am guilty of that matchy matchy outfits too but that was a long time ago and now I also cringed at the thought of it. haha! You make color blocking look so effortless and you are so talented! I can’t wait to see where your blog will be a year from now! Keep up the great work girl!
wow you make color blocking look sooo good! and thank you for leaving a comment on my entry about the same subject! have a creative monday!
I absolutely HEART this kelly green skirt too! I think we share very similar body type (I have smaler waist compare with my thighs and behind lol) so I am always on the hunt for the perfect above the knee skirt (hides all of the above area haha).
Beautiful color coordination. Love the skirt and those Valentino pumps.

This outfit is so adorable KT! I love the color combination and that green really popped! I agree that kelly green transitions really well from spring to fall and I can’t believe you made it yourself. You are not only pretty, you’re talented, sweet and humble. I love reading all of your blog posts and I look forward to seeing more! Hopefully one day I’ll see your stuff in stores! :)
Those skirts you make are completely perfect. So so flattering, adorable, and classic all at the same time. You’ve got some serious talent!!
OMG!!! Did you made that!!@?? I need to order one and I just LOVE the pink top with it. It does look like a blossoming flower bud!
