I started following Tania, founder of Olive + Piper’s fashion blog when I first started my own blog in 2012. I loved her personal style, but it was her humor that that I adored. Actually, she’s pretty fucking hilarious. I remember reading some of her blog posts and laughed so hard that my cheeks hurt. Her personality shined through her writing and it was quite refreshing to read fashion blogs that’s also hilarious…So when she started Olive + Piper, naturally I became a huge fan and supporter.
Sometimes things may not go as we have planned, and we always hope the next moment, day, month and year is going to be better than the current one. However, what are we doing about it? Nothing changes unless you change something. The same old mindset will not create brand new results. We have to think different to encourage new actions which will produce new outcomes. It’s fear that’s constantly holding us back, but sometimes what we fear the most is the very thing that will set us free.
As someone who has always been quite relaxed (ahhh, lazy!) about my daily beauty regime, I’ve always opted for the less is more mantra. Splash a little water, a little moisturizer and I’m set. Having said that, I’ve never had flawless skin. I get breakouts in summer, dry patches in winter and dark circles when I don’t get enough sleep (which is often). Over the last several years I’ve learned how important it is to have a good daytime + nighttime skincare regimen; and I’m always on the hunt for an amazing product.
So when the Clarins sent me their Clarins Double Serum to try, I was instantly curious.
