Perhaps I just have a weakness for dangerous studs delicately wrapped around my ankles and down the back of my heels because when I saw these babies, there were no such thing as “no K, you don’t need this.”
These Valentino studded ankle strap sandals from the Fall 2012 Rockstud collection features pyramid studs, red leather, double adjustable blush ankle straps and a strip of smaller studs down the back of the heel. That little sucker behind my ears who frequently tries to discourage me from buying certain things was quickly shut down. No regrets here! :)
Made this pencil skirt with my favorite bow details from the left over materials from this pleated (faux) leather skirt, but I probably won’t be making another one of these for a while. Sewing with faux leather, pleather, or vinyl can be pretty tricky and time consuming and if you’re not careful you can rip the material on top and sometimes it can take hours to complete the project…I was pretty happy with the results but my back wasn’t. lol

Red Soles and Red Wine
You are unbelievable talented I must say! I am VERY challenged in the sewing (or all things crafty) department so I always envy people who are so creative and better yet, in the fashion industry!!
You dress so well with your figure (I believe you are like I am, more on the curvy side lol)!
This pair of shoes is HOT this season. I’ve seen many bloggers wearing it but yours is a different shade all together! I like your color better than the chilli red ones which I’ve seen so far =) Good choice!

Those shoes are STUNNING and wow you made that skirt! I love the bow detail!!
Even in all black you still shine! I love when you’re glam but I so love when you’re rockstar chic!
LOVE those shoes! And you made that skirt? The detail is amazing! Impeccable job!
You are just so beautiful! I love this outfit, the shoes, and your amazing skirt! Well done :)

Babe, you effin look amazing. But when don’t you? Teach me your magical ways! ;)
I LOVE this pencil skirt you made. The top stitched princess line detail is a nice touch. I’d have to agree, leather and faux leather is a very temperamental fabric to work with… you should totally think about getting a walking foot attachment. It makes life so much more easier when sewing with leathers. Or if you want to know a trick of the trade (if you don’t know already), use tissue paper! Just sandwich strips of tissue paper between the fabric and your machine’s foot and viola! Easy sewing. It’s an added step, but the results always deliver.
Okay.. and on to those freakin’ incredible shoes of yours. AMAZEBALLS. Your should collection is so enviable. I want to come and play. But I’m sure my king kong size feet (I’m an 8) would not be able to fit into your shoesies.
Hope you’re having a great Hump Day, love! Off to get the laundry done. URGH. >_<

Urgh you make me sick! why does everything look great on you!!??? I mean don’t you ever have a bad day?? LOL. Love love love that leather skirt and I love your bow details! Now don’t even get me started on those shoes!
Oooh, I’m so used to seeing you in all bright, splashy colors, so I love your black-on-black ensemble! So chic, clean, and fantastically minimal, especially with that gorgeous faux leather skirt! I love it, of course! And girl, those heels… I almost died when I saw them in person at the KSW show! Bold red, a high heel, and studs; it’s all very you. :) And in my opinion, photos do it no justice because they’re even more spectacular in person. Muah!
