You know they say you take things that are easily accessible for granted? Well that’s my relationship with San Francisco. A short 20 minutes drive away from me is this little city with so many layers and diverse cultures. I have expressed how much I love NY, LA, Miami, the Caribbeans and Bora Bora, but there’s a really beautiful place right under my nose that I didn’t realize sometimes I take for granted. Standing on top of Divisadero Street lets me see this city in it’s truly beautiful state…the neighborhood pack with stores and restaurants, the alley ways filled with creative artwork, the offices occupied with dreamers and risk takers, and the windy roads that can lead you to beautiful scenery of the mountains, the ocean, the bridges and more…

Dear Leopard,

wildchild3

wildchild2One of my favorite purchases from my recent trip to NY were these Schutz Shoes. I love the edgy yet feminine lace-up details and the neutral camel color goes well with practically everything. If you’re looking to purchase this, they run a bit small. I went one size up but the good thing is the lace can be adjusted for a better fit. This also comes in black and a new style, the Arieli comes with studs.

Dear Leopard,

There are some out there who has a deep repugnance for you. Some even judge you and say you are distasteful and tacky. To me, you are classic like the little black dress but better because you can spice up any outfit. You have charisma and spunk. I love pairing you with so many things such as 1) denim for a casual daytime look, 2) a simple white blouse for a conservative yet sexy vibe, 3) a hint of color to liven things up and 4) mixing prints for a bold and daring look! You are stylish, eye-catchng, yet versatile and timeless. Best of all, you have always been there for me when I have doubts and need a pick-me-up. That’s why I’ll always pick you over that b*itch L.B.D.

Love Always, K

One of the most worn item in my closet has got to be this chambray top from H&M. I really love how chambray compliments a lot of pieces in my closet and I especially love that it can tone down a party metallic skirt, add character to a little black dress, casualized a body hugging pencil skirt, edged up a pair of feminine lace shorts, and completes this camouflage + white tee combination. Are there anything that doesn’t go well with a chambray top? I added black pointy toe pumps to dress up the look and of course my favorite black fedora whenever I don’t feel like fussing with my hair but want to make a statement.

There’s been a few articles floating around that chambray is getting old but it’s still a favorite item of mine (for all the reasons above). So ladies, do you think chambray is played out?

Metallic Leopard

Snapped some photos on Saturday before I headed out to a friend’s bridal shower and a holiday party. Since both events was in the daytime, I wanted to tone down this metallic leopard (party) print skirt with something neutral like a chambray top (which goes with just about anything btw). Isn’t the color and print of this skirt gorgeous? I felt like it was made for me ’cause I fell in love with it the second I saw it! :)

After my failed attempts to purchase this and this from the H&M x Maison Martin Margiela collection, I almost went for THIS, but (fortunately) someone talked me out of this duvet/sleeping bag/camping tent/Eskimo suit. Disappointed that I’ll be going home empty handed, until I came across this gorgeous sparkler of a sequin skirt which completely cheered me up and made me forget who MMM was. What can I say, I’m a sucker for things that sparkles.

Hope you’re Monday is going great so far! This is going to be a short week (so excited) and I’m looking forward to spending time with family on Thanksgiving day and eating all the delicious home cook food!

xoxo,
