It’s about that time of the year to switch from tank tops, shorts and sandals to pants, jackets, sweaters and boots. I’m not really big on layering because I get a little claustrophobic a little too quickly but fall can still be warm for me with the perfect jacket.

One of my basic necessities for fall is a jacket that will keep me warm, isn’t overwhelming, and is chic and unique. Over the years I’ve collected a good number of jackets and this tweed knit jacket is one of my latest favorites. I was quickly drawn to the coziness of cable knit sleeves and the perfect olive shade of the tweed vest. It was a perfect subtle addition to my very basic skinny jeans and white t-shirt combination. Best of all, it kept me warm without making me too hot! Gotta love those sweater jackets!

Hey loves! Just wanted to do a quick post to say hello and hope you are are off to a great start with your Friday! The weather has been pretty unpredictable lately. One minute it’s hot as death, the next it feels like a storm is coming. To be honest, I didn’t mind it so much because I get to mix one of my favorite summer-to-fall outfits. The sweater + shorts combo!! It’s like wearing a tank top with a scarf but somehow it just makes sense.

Have a lovely 3-day weekend guys and be safe whatever you do! Kisses!

Shades of Pastel

High-waisted distressed shorts has flooded fashion magazines, websites and streetstyle this summer. My poor little overstuffed denim drawers has also took a big hit. Distressed cut off denims are really easy to DIY, but these particular pastel tie dye babies were too good to pass up when I came across them in LA.

Whew! T.G.I.F! This week felt like the longest week ever. Today is Friday the 13th and as much as I’ve “tried” not to be superstitious, I’m always paranoid of the little things on this day like being attacked by a black cat (yes this had happened to me), randomly walking under a ladder, breaking a mirror or just anything and everything. I cannot afford 7 years of bad luck. Are you superstitious?

Happy Friday loves, despite my superstitious mumble jumble, I hope the eve of your weekend is off to a great start! xo

P.S. If you’re in the LA area, go check out Motel on Melrose Ave. There were so many vintage cut off denims available in every size you can imagine and I mean every size ranging from $40-$70 (sorry I can’t locate the address for the life of me right now).

Pink Blueberry

Blazers has always been a wardrobe essential. With the right fit, a good blazer can instantly dress up jeans, skirts, the LBDs, shorts and even leggings. Although a basic black blazer is simply one of the most versatile item and can go with virtually everything…a  cheerfully bright blazer can do the same and can bring instant glam into your wardrobe.

Don’t be fool by the bright pink color of this blazer. With the right outfit you can take this from playtime to business hours….but as you can see I’m all about playtime these days, so mixing this vibrant structured blazer with blue floral shorts and adding a splash of leopard completed the fun summertime vibe I was going for. Hey, living in the Bay Area, the weather is quite unpredictable (not to mention bi-polar) so I need to take full advantage of all the summertime outfits while I can :)

In addition to pink, here are my summer’s favorite hues for blazers. Would you wear any of these and if so, which is your favorite?

Zara yellow blazer, J. Crew green blazer,

Topshop coral ponte boyfriend blazer, ASOS purple peplum blazer $58

Thanks for stopping by the blog loves! TGIF and have a wonderful weekend! xo

A Glimpse Inside

Hello my lovelies! I hope you are having an amazing day! I started out cleaning my dresser the other night because my jewelries has gotten a little out of control. But the ‘crazy little cleaning lady’ in me started curating everything from my makeup to my favorite pair of high heels and handbags (and will be tackling the wardrobe next — stay tuned for part 2). Here’s just a little glimpse inside my closet… hopefully this will give you a break from seeing too much of me! :)
