I said this before and I’ll say it again, pink and green together creates such a magnetic chemistry that I just adore and can’t get enough of. These are my happy colors, my color block therapy! And the over-sized bow details adds a lovely allure of ladylike sweetness. Hope you’re having a lovely Wednesday! xo

I love pink and green, but together there’s something magnetic and I can’t seem to get enough of combining them. Since they are both bright hues, I wanted to neutralized the look by pairing nude heels and a nude bag which has a subtle print that adds texture to this outfit. These are my happy colors, my color therapy! :)

Oh those fugly overalls. You know, the comfy, classic one piece denims with those buckles that was totally “cute-sie,” way way back when your mom used to forced you into as a toddler. There were short ones, long ones, floral ones, colorful ones, corduroy ones and sometimes we’d even leave one strap unbuckled. Well, they are back!! But as fashion always has a way of playing tricks on us, it went from fug to fab. Well, at least for me it did.

Casually styled, overalls can be dressed up with a pair of heels and blouse or dressed down with a crop top and pair of Chucks. However way you wear them, overalls are fun and can give your style a playful edge. It’s no wonder I can’t resist their cozy charm.

Here are some of my favorite looks. Which one is your favorite?

Sometimes I think the whole concept of mixed- matching casual with dressy is a way to never feel out of place. Never over dressed and never under dressed. I love the concept but I especially love the look and feel to it because a girl’s gotta have a little glam, even when she’s dressing down. :)

As much as I love pretty flowy dresses, I favored an awesome pair of casual pants that’s versatile and can take me from day to night. These Bar III slim jockey pants are beyond comfortable, stretches and are so soft to the touch. They’re typically worn with flats or sneakers (perfect for running errands or lounging around) but I decided to dress and edge them up with metallic pumps and a (faux) leather jacket with interesting back details. The mixing is really more of an outcome to my on-to-go-and-didn’t-have-a-change-of-clothes problems than me trying to be creative. :)
