“I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.” -Audrey Hepburn

I have heard that pencil skirts can be boring and are a thing of the past, but it’s actually a very versatile and timeless piece that can be mixed and matched in a variety of ways…with a blouse, a tank, a sweater, a peplum, and many more. Feeling a bit daring, I opted for a crop mesh top from Tobi, paired with leopard print pumps, gold accessories and red lips for a night out last weekend.
This high-waisted “office-worthy meets cotton comfort” Ponte Knit skirt from Express (last seen here in blue) is definitely a favorite in my wardrobe. Unlike most cotton pencil skirts that I have encountered, this curve-skimming material is thick and covers most unflattering areas. I really despise curve-hugging things made with thin materials because they are notorious for showing all flaws and even some you never knew you had.
Below are a few examples of how many different tops a similar pink pencil skirt can be paired with. Check out my Polyvore page to see the deets and where you can find each item. Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
