Does anyone remember that white Thierry Mugler’s dress that Stacy Dash’s character “Valerie” wore on Single’s Ladies to brunch at Malcolm’s? It was love at 1st sight for me and ever since then, I have been trying to find this beautiful dress. Well, unfortunately it’s vintage and a one of a kind piece so the chances of me finding it is pretty slim to none…In the last few months I have been playing with different fabric textures and trying to figure out how to re-create a sturdy yet flexible décolletage. I didn’t want the beautiful bust area to flop over and I’ve finally figured it out… I also wore this dress to brunch a few weeks ago and received so many requests to sell it that I’ve decided to add it to the shop as a Made to Order piece; and hope that like me, your search for that one of a kind perfect dress has came to an end. :) xx, KTR

My jeans has suffered from a few too many bad washes, but I kind of like it this way. A little wear and tear adds characters. :)

P.S. These are actually vintage mom’s jeans. For tips on how to DIY your mom’s jeans and turn them into distressed BF jeans, see my tutorial HERE. xx

Looking at these photos seriously made me giggled to myself. Keeping things as real as possible here, I am no model and seeing myself draped and slung my jacket over my shoulders oh-so-nonchalantly is pretty amusing. I mean, how on earth are people walking around like this? I get it, the pits needs some breathing room, but I could hardly keep the thing on my back standing still let along strutting at full speed down the street. Nevertheless I may just have been quite the inexperience jacket-draper and my desire to snatched the living sleeves off someone who frequent the “drape” has kinda sorta diminished; because now I realized how this look has elevated my chic status by 10.

Totally kidding aside, this crop jacket and pencil skirt made in a stretch medium weight knit fabric is my favorite from my New Year ’14 collection. The rich deep pink/red hue and clean soft knit is perfect for day or night and I especially love that this can be worn in the office with simple pumps, on a casual date with a tee, or a sexy top for a night on the town with the girls. There are so many outfits that can be styled with this set together or separately, and I can’t wait to show you the photos…well actually I can because none of those photos has been taken yet.  :)

It’s really hard being serious (for photos) if you see the kind of poses my husband would ask me to do, maybe I’ll save some for outtakes one day….but sometimes, the best photos are captured unplanned and candidly, in a secluded alley wearing your favorite little DIY red skirt.
