Wore this all white outfit last weekend for dinner and drinks with my girls. I’m really loving monochromatic lately and all white everything has been one of my favorite looks.

Hope you had an awesome weekend. I’m so ready for ATL in a few days for Thanksgiving…friends, family and of course yummy delicious soul food.

Everyone who knows me knows I’m the queen of bright colors and bold patterns but lately I have been really into monochrome and little black dresses. I mean, I used to think LDBs were boring, simple and too safe, but when there are little black dresses like these, the LBDs are anything but boring. Just like love… sometimes, a little dress doesn’t have to be loud or flamboyant to be noticed.

Btw – notice anything different? :)

YUP, cut about 9 inches off my hair. This is the shortest I have ever had my hair since I was 3 years old. I’ve always been  kind of a slave to my long hair but now with a shorter do, I feel like a friggin’ model!! I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted. Never knew I could feel so free…and hair flippin just got a new meaning. :)

I love this jumper, I really do…but I could hardly move in it, and when I tried to sit, it bunches up in the crotch as if I have the biggest vajayjay ever, not to mention that bow knot stabbing me in the spine if I dare lean back on my seat. It’s probably why I looked so pissy in these photos with the exception of the mildly forced smile. Ahhh, the price we pay for a cute jumpsuit! Lol…Have a great weekend!

Some of the best things about having a personal style blog is being able to document how your style evolve over time….and lately I have been in a sort of minimalism kick. The neutral or solid colors, the no fuss silhouette, the lack of anything seemingly statement-making (i.e. statement necklace, arm candy overload, etc. etc.), and simple fabrics that feels great!
