2013 Caribbean Vacation Diary Part I: San Juan, Barbados & St. Lucia

Perhaps it’s the stretches of sugar-soft sand laying amongst the striking sea of crystal clear water that I love so much. Or it could be the warm breeze against my skin even when it rained…the delicious authentic food, the endless adventure and exploring that we can do…or maybe it’s just the laid-back pace of life and the people are generally charming and welcoming. I think it’s probably all of the above that has captivated my heart about the Caribbean islands, making it my top places to visit each year.

Can I just say Thank Goodness It’s F***kin’ Friday! :) Snapped a few photos on our way out for my b.day yesterday right before it got dark. Who would have guessed blowing confetti can make one’s cheeks look like a chubby little chipmunk, and these aren’t even the best of those cheeks I dare say.

Well, I just wanted to say hi, wish you gorgeous people a wonderful weekend. Will be heading out soon for our week long Caribbean cruise today and am so excited to finally do nothing. Have a wonderful day! xoxo

Wild At Heart

I had bangs a few years ago and after a few months of wearing it, I was so annoyed by the maintenance that I swore off bangs forever. Well, when it comes to hair, sometimes changes of heart can happen and here I am again with bangs. It does take a lot of up-keeping but I’m loving the newness, plus I don’t have to worry about bushy eyebrows!

If you have been reading my blog, you know how much I love bold prints and it’s even better when they are mixed together. I wore this leopard tunic dress (currently on sale) backwards because the front keyhole on the tunic was distracting the floral blouse layered underneath. It was also really long and loose so I added a thin waist belt that pulled up the dress and gave it a bit of shape.

Hope you had a great weekend and was able to watch the Superbowl. What a good game it was! What team were you rooting for? I was team Beyonce of course! :)
