Wore this cute little romper last week when we were hanging at Santana Row and came across this cool wall in one of the side streets. How amazing are the colors and the “vintage” looking iron windows? Sure was perfect as the background color for this black and white ensemble. Btw, if you’re interested in this romper, it runs true to size, but I went a size up so it’s not too tight (I try to be modest sometimes :). Since the romper was loose fitting, I added a waist belt to cinch the waist and add shape to the boxy romper.

Have a good weekend!

This is one of my fave tee (the quote is so cute, also seen here) and my go-to weekend shorts yesterday to meet up with a friend. I just love the look of a simple tee with distressed denims and a killer pair of heels.

Hope you had a blast weekend! It was insanely hot here in the Bay Area (about 90 degrees yesterday) and even though I was sweating bullets, I’m so excited that the weather is heating up!

Trendy yet sophisticated, there is just something inherently charming about a shorts suit.

The shorts suit is a more casual take on the classic pantsuit and is perfect for when the weather heats up. As a die hard leopard – print fan, I especially adore that this Joie matching linen blazer and shorts comes in a gray & white leopard print…because it’s quite refreshing from the typical brown and dark tones…and it’s also really nice to add yet another leopard to my never ending collection of animal prints!

These shoes may look pretty sweet in photos but I have to be honest — they are NOT made for walking, just STANDING, and standing in one place only. And be warned, you’re going to get a lot of stares from folks, not because you’re a fabulous fashionista-blogger extraordinaire, but because you’ll most likely be walking like you had 10 lbs weights on each foot while you trip on absolutely nothing on the ground. Lol. Maybe it’s just me and my obnoxious stubborn wide feet, but I wanted to die after 20 minutes that I begged Nate to please carry me back to the car. High high heels has never really been an issue but the extra material of the bows made these beauties really heavy and difficult to walk in.

If you’re going somewhere where you’ll only be sitting and you have someone who will carry you around at a snap of your fingers, then you’ll be just fine! :) I still love them and do hope to break them in…one day… Hope you had a fantastic weekend!
