Channeling my inner pin-up girl with this look a few days ago for a celebratory dinner. I wanted to wear a body hugging red stripes skirt that’s long (most I found were knee length) so I made this skirt; and decided to do a little print mixing with my diy polka dots halter top.

You know the saying less is more? Well it’s not always true. At least when it comes to clothes. I mean, when it comes to having something that is versatile that is…something that can be worn in various ways and styled with multiple outfits for day to night, from work to play, and casual to dressy…more is really MORE!! :)
When I saw this print, I knew I needed it in my life. Of course a skirt is a mandatory thing nowadays for KTRcollection, but when I couldn’t decide if I needed a mini or a midi, I thought how awesome it would be to have it attached so my customers can have the best of both worlds without feeling they have two of the same skirts (because we all know that’s just ridiculous :)! Made with built in snap-on buttons to attached the bottom layer to create a full, long length skirt! The Attach-Me-Not convertible skirt was born!

Not sure if you can tell but I’m quite fond of this bold combination of leopard on leopard. I decided to mixed the colors (instead of having the print in one tone) to break up the print and give it some dimensions. The colors are bright, bold, and so perfect for summer!

Black and white has always been timeless, a true classic and a universally chic color combination, but when you add a dab of red (or any color that you love), it takes it to a whole new level of fabulous. To be honest, I think any accent color will look great with black and white, but red has always been my favorite. After all, it is the color of love, passion and good luck! :)
