Whenever I feel like my outfit has too much of one or the other, I’ll swap it out for a substitute until I find my balance. I think it’s important to experiment, mix and match your favorite pieces to find the look that works for you.

Transitioning from summer to fall is always a bit of a challenge for me. Part of it has to do with me being quite claustrophobic when it comes to layering, and the other part is well, I don’t really like winter clothes… So that’s probably why this BCBG is a staple in my wardrobe right now. It keeps “most” of my body warm and it has the layering effect without really layering anything.  The feminine lace with contrasting collar and cuffs is perfectly polished and the open back detail is subtly sexy without trying. I’m actually really glad for the small cutout in the back because I tend to sweat really easy when I’m all clothed up in tight clothes, so thank you BCBGMAXAZRIA for thinking of us gals who has sweating issues. I love you for that! :)

On days when I have no energy to get dressed, I find that this little black midi skirt is the perfect-no-fuss simple piece in my closet that can dress up anything. I wanted the simple yet elegant look so I paired this skirt with a basic black top. To keep things interesting, I added a statement necklace, threw my hair in a bun and wore red lips. With just a few minor additions, a simple outfit was transformed into something a little more exciting and no one could even tell I got ready in 15 minutes… well now you do. :)

Hope you’re enjoying your Monday so far. I’m not, I hate Mondays. I wish it was Saturday again. xo

Rumor has it that full skirts are in full swing this season; being the new skirt silhouette for fall and the trendiest thing on the runway….for me, knee length skirts are always in style regardless of the season. They are feminine, classy and tastefully seductive. I’m just madly in love with full skirts. Typically I like to pair them with a form fitting (crop) top but today I was in the mood to go for a bold leopard print which I feel is the perfect compliment against this green skirt.

Speaking of which, this is a new addition to the the KTR clan. You can now Pre Order her and get 20% off until September 21st! Please use Code FULLFEVER20 at checkout.

As if sitting on a leather seat right smack in the middle of summer when it’s 80 degrees out isn’t bad enough, I decided to wear a leather skirt. Hope everyone’s having a wonderful Wednesday! :)
