:: Style Tips ::

Fit: Look for a maxi that’s fitted. If there isn’t a shape already, try to create a shape by adding a belt, sweater or fitted jacket.

Too Long: If the hemline in the front is dragging on the ground, then it is too long. Never try to walk in something too long, it could be hazardous.  Bring the dress to a local seamstress and get them hem! If the maxi is cotton and you want to save some cash and time, it can easily be trimmed at home with a sharp pair of scissors.

Too Short: If the hemline is anywhere above your ankles, it will look like you purchased the wrong size.

Patterns: Avoid busy and large patterns, as they give the eye too many places to rest. A vertical pattern might lengthen your body while horizontal stripes can widen the entire look.

Accessorize: The right additions can take a basic maxi dress and really makes it pops. Think a statement necklace, bangles, fun earrings, etc.

* * Be Bold! Fashion is all about taking risks and your confidence is what makes the outfit!
