Growing up, red was never my go-to color to wear. I’ve always been a little shy (when I was younger) and red was just too flamboyant for me. Funny, as I got older and developed into my personal style, red is now my signature favorite trademark. Whenever I’m in doubt, feeling drab, or just wanted a little pick-me-up, red will instantly do the trick. Whether it’s a red pair of heels, a red top or skirt, red lips or nails…or all together (which is probably better suited for special occasions)!

Red is energizing; it signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. It’s confident, passionate and in various Asian cultures, red is the color of good luck, joy and prosperity. So I’m starting off the holidays and the new year all decked out in red!
