What I love about fashion and clothing is not the expensive labels or the fancy stuff. Of course they are fun to have…but what’s really exciting to me is re-wearing something old and re-creating something new. My top is from last year and my skirt is from my mom who wore it 30 years ago…
When I saw this knit pencil skirt in my mom’s closet I was 1) surprise I liked it and 2) knew I had to steal borrow it. It’s funny because growing up I never thought I’d like anything in my her closet. It’s pretty cool to know that I’m fitting into my mom’s clothes from 30 years ago and I love it! I love this knit sweater skirt because it’s so comfortable and cozy and it’s perfect for multi-styling (casual or dressy). I’ll be back next week mom, I hope you don’t mind! :)
The look is so effortlessly chic. I love the skirt but partly upset that you easily selected it from your mother’s closet…kudoos to you!

Urgh so cute!
That skirt looks brandnew, I can’t believe it’s thirty years old!
You are so right!
Shopping and expensive clotes are great but it’s so much more fun to create styles with vintage or older pieces in your closet!
I love great finds for only a few dollars in a cute thriftstore!
This is even better, your moms skirt and looking like a million dollars paired with trendy and fun items
I love this post KT so well done on the styling and of course looking gorge as always!

That is definitely my favorite thing on fashion too!! Of course I love trends, of course I love go shopping, but the greatest feeling is to open my closet and see so many super old pieces that I love. And that’s also a perfect way of not looking exactly like everyone else! Lots of different collections, lots of different brands, lots of different trends in one closet, and I’m a happy lady recreating all that!

You were born to wear pencil skirts, well skirts in general, you look amazing in them! Can’t believe this one was your mom’s, looks like it was just taken off the rack, that’s amazing! Loved the look dear!

Hands down this is easily one of my favorite looks from you. The styling is perfect and so are all the details, your nails, necklace, that little monogram necklace peeking from the large statement necklace. Hair, makeup, simple heels. You are a fashionista for sure!
