Some of my favorite things to do when the weather heats up is head to the beach, so I’m always on the lookout for new swim suits. I love my itty bitty little bikini bottoms but for a while now I am obsessed with the retro inspired looked of these high waisted bikini bottoms. This trend oozes glamour and is fabulous for curvy shapes or for enhancing those of with less. Here are a few of my faves!

Regarding high waisted swim bottoms I honestly don’t know what to think. They’re so cute but… it bothers me to have a bikini mark/whiter skin with that shape. I don’t know if it’s because I’m from a latin country and we tend to like tiny-tiny swim bottoms but I’m skipping those. They look super cute on you though!

I love your combo! I think the high waisted shorts give a cool vintage vibe and a little bit of modesty which I’m a fan of sometimes. I really wish I lived near a beach!
I haven’t tried high waisted bikinis yet, I’m not sure if they’ll swallow my upper torso and make me look shorter, but I love those on you. They are so fun, and the lip color too :)
Hi P.H. I think the trick is to get a high waist that’s not so high up or pair your bottoms with a tube versus a halter.

I’ll have you know that I bought American Apparel’s watermelon high-waisted bottom because of you! Those pictures from your Caribbean vacation were so fantastic, I couldn’t stop thinking about that bottom! I was unsure at first about how it would look on me, but I tried two sizes on at the store and went with the small. I’m so excited to wear it! Live in Miami and haven’t been able to enjoy the beach this summer. :/

Rawr! So sexy. Love it, babe. :))) I recently stocked up on some suits and can’t wait to wear them for my birthday weekend later this month. The hubs and I are just island hopping to Oahu, but we’re staying at the Sheraton Waikiki, so I want to make sure I have some cute suits to sport while poolside, or down at the beach. :) Eeps!
