Jersey Girl on Valentine’s Day
This is an amazing comfortable jersey maxi skirt that I spotted on a trip to Target to check out the Prabal Gurung collection. I love how it hugs the hips and flares out at the bottom, accentuating your curves yet still flow and move with so much ease.
I actually came for these neon green beauties but if you have been to Target, you’d know that you never really leave with just one thing…
Top: Free People vegan leather jacket, Top Shop crop tank | Bottom: Mossimo maxi skirt | Shoes: Zara | Bag: Marc Jacobs sutton bag | Glasses: Lumete

I hope you are having a lovely day today and that someone special has put a big smile on your face. If they didn’t, just punch them in the stomach when they walk by. :)
I really can’t believe how fast this year is flying by. It’s already mid February, and you know what that means. No, not the NBA All Stars! It’s Valentine’s Day! I don’t technically celebrate because I feel like it’s such a commercial gimmick to put pressure on both men and women and I don’t like how it singled out individuals who doesn’t have a significant other…so I never really expect Nate to waste money on flowers that are doubled the price or dinner that tripled. Instead, I prefer a nice quiet evening at home with a yummy home cook meal. Usually I don’t like to share my kitchen, but tonight we’ll cook together. Well, I’ll be cooking while he gets in the way and makes a mess. :)
Whatever you do and whoever you love, celebrate love in any form it comes! Enjoy it and celebrate it every day of the year!

Love this girly! A big fan of the midriff & jersey combo!

Love this look!
That’s a really nice skirt with a great price (when it comes from Target) =)
Yea, my bf and I are like you and Nate. It was never our tradition to celebrate Valentine’s Day and contribute to the ever-so-commercialize day. Love should be shared every day and not just in 1 particular day.
So, did you find something from Prabal Gurung in Target?
The jersey skirt is super sexy and looks so comfy. I’m also really loving the look of these crop tops, I think I’m going to have to try this trend out! Your night in for Valentine’s sounds perfect, I hope your hubby didn’t make too much of a mess in your kitchen ;)

I really like this outfit it’s so simple and at the same time it looks so cute, really like the maxi dress and the color of it, and the top!

It’s funny that for today, I put on color but you did monochrome! :P And I agree… you walk into Target for one thing (one thing, I swear!) and you walk out with a cartload of everything else, haha. I really dig the cut and shape of the skirt as well–love how it’s both modest yet silhouette-shaping at the exact same time! Monochrome suits you very well, as does ummm, nearly other color of the rainbow!
